Title: Signals of first luminous objects at EoR
Time: 3:00pm, Nov. 04th (Thursday)
Speaker: Bin Yue (NAOC)
Location: Lecture Hall, 3rd floor
Abstract:
During the reionization, most of the ionizing photons are from galaxies that at too faint to detect in traditional galaxy surveys. On the other hand, the background from their cumulative radiation, including the continuous and the emission line (the intensity mapping), contains the radiation from all galaxies even down to the faintest ones. Such background has the potential to tell us information of faint galaxies properties. In my talk, I will present the theoretical investigations of the cosmic near-infrared signal and the CII intensity mapping signal of galaxies at EoR. I will also discuss the possibility for detecting the radio signal of direct collapse black holes (DCBHs) by SKA and ngVLA.
